Japanese Women Talk to their Computers
According to an online study conducted by Sega and iShare, over 2/5 of Japanese women regularly have conversations with their computers. A tenth even go as far as to give them nicknames (among them: Mac-kun, Pudding, Princess).
Why?
Well, the surface reasons are pretty obvious—the computer freezes so they complain to it, or you comment on the web sites it's showing you, or prod it to load faster. But then there's the meta reason, which is that Japanese women pretty often talk to inanimate objects. Maybe it's because Japanese men don't talk that much, either that or they ignore or tell them to shut up. At least the Basil Plant doesn't talk back.

my computer's name is lee chan.
